In Chaumont, come see the old city, the basilica of Saint John, the dungeon of the counts of Champagne, the viaduct and the Maison du Livre et de l´Affiche, which hosts the International Graphic Arts Meeting in June and July. 

Follow the traces of Charles de Gaulles in Colombey-les-deux Églises.  Visit la Boisserie, family home of the General and the immense Lorraine cross.  Do not forget to taste the Haute Marne Champagne of Argentolles and Rizaucourt.  In the autumn, forest lovers will be happy to look for truffles and games.

Langres is a city of Art and history and has conserved it´s remarkable ramparts,animated in August by the Halberdiers Rounds.  The medieval city was the home of Diderot and has other sights like the renaissance Château of Pailly or the Gallo-Roman Mausoleum of Faverolles. The area around Langres has 4 lakes, countless rivers and hundreds of springs.
